Master These Five
These five shortcuts cover 90% of daily Rando usage. Master them first!
Navigation Shortcuts
Browse your photo collection efficiently:
| Action | macOS | Windows |
|---|---|---|
| Random Photo | Space | Space |
| Previous Photo | ← or P | ← or P |
| Next Photo | → or N | → or N |
| First Photo | Home | Home |
| Last Photo | End | End |
| Toggle Full Screen | F or ⌘F | F or Ctrl+F |
| Exit Full Screen/Close | Esc | Esc |
Slideshow Shortcuts
Control slideshow playback:
| Action | macOS | Windows |
|---|---|---|
| Start Slideshow | S or ⌘R | S or Ctrl+R |
| Play/Pause | Space | Space |
| Next Image | → or N | → or N |
| Previous Image | ← or P | ← or P |
| Exit Slideshow | Esc | Esc |
| Show Help | / or ? | / or ? |

Collage Shortcuts
These apply while a Collage slideshow is running:
| Action | macOS | Windows |
|---|---|---|
| Larger tiles (fewer Flow columns) | - | - |
| Smaller tiles (more Flow columns) | = | = |
| Reverse infinite scroll (Flow) | ↑ | ↑ |
| Resume forward scroll (Flow) | ↓ | ↓ |
Infinite scroll (Flow only, on by default) slowly scrolls the photo wall and pauses whenever you move the mouse or interact, then resumes when you're idle. The Up arrow reverses the scroll so you can go back up to a photo that caught your eye, and the Down arrow returns to forward. A Reverse button in the collage overlay controls does the same thing with the mouse.
Multi-Monitor Slideshow Shortcuts (macOS)
Control multiple slideshows running on different displays:
| Action | macOS Shortcut |
|---|---|
| Play/Pause All | ⌥ Space |
| Previous All | ⌥ ← |
| Next All | ⌥ → |
